Very well made. Quiet, but not silent. Big improvement, both in sound and air movement over standard exhaust fans. I bought 2, the second is rated at 115cfms for a smaller bathroom. I would not hesitate to purchase these Panasonic fans again.

This is an excellent product that does everything it promises. All components are very high quality. It competely removes the humid air from a large bathroom with a cathedral ceiling. One piece of advice, don't skimp on capacity - err on buying more than you think you need.
The install is not for a causual DIYer - espcially if you are not replacing an existing fan. The criticisms regarding the vent flap in the unit are based on ignorance as this is not the flap that is supposed to provide complete backdraft prevention (all exhaust fan flaps I have seen are made the same as this one). It is assumed that the product will be vented to the outside with a hood that is equipped with a weatherproof backdraft flap (and animal screen). I personally installed my unit and had a roofing company install the roof vent.
Lastly, I plan on buying two more to replace old fans in smaller bathrooms.

This baby is ultra-quiet and pushes 3x the air volume of the loud builder-installed fan it replaced. Installation was not simple as I had to replace all of the 3 ductwork with new 6" ducts. Installation would have been near impossible if I did not have good access to the bathroom ceiling from above. But well worth the investment of time and money for me!
This 150 cfm fan is even quieter than the 50cfm Delta fans that I bought. I'll still use the Delta fans in my other bathrooms because they are far quieter to the builder-installed fans and super easy to install in the existing ceiling holes.
